"This house is a beautiful old house a few blocks from the lake shore. Nicely updated and beautiful decor. The Leighton Suite is the whole front of the house - living room, dining room, newly remodeled kitchen, large bedroom with king bed, bathroom and closet. Close to nice shops and restaurants. "Most people don't come to NoLa to stay in their room... what we needed was an affordable place to put our luggage, shower and sleep. To that end, we got what we paid for. "#1, Ms.Wanda deserves a raise and award for best customer service. In all my years of staying at a hotel, never have met someone who goes above and beyond like she does. She really makes you feel like it’s your home away from home. And she comes in on weekends despite not being her shift, just to help with breakfast!! The hotel, despite being skeptical at first because of location, it’s a clean and comfortable hotel. We didn’t get to use the amenities since we were working and exploring most of the time, but the room was great. The bath tub a little small and had to close the door hard to make sure it locked, other than that, loved it and will stay again! "
